Saturday 9th April Plot Visit

Their latest visit, themed ‘Seed, Weed and Read’, while dampened by the rain, did not dampen the spirits of all those in attendance!

They kicked the day off by bringing various materials along to the plot site – including reclaimed wood ready for their next plot building project – and top soil awaiting use for their new plot dig later on this year.  Some wonderful manual labour to warm them up followed….

Their next Taster day is this coming Sunday 24/04 between 10:00 and 14:00.

Plant and rant – take a pot home

Bring your chosen pots and seeds or take it easy and go down and join them in seeding and planting of some spare pots. Take one home to get you started this growing season.

For those who like DIY, they are going to be building the potting and tool “annexe” to provide relief to their bursting shed, so bring your screwdrivers, saws, screws, cordless drills etc and join in the fun. If you have some pieces of transparent corrugated roofing, that would be a treat!
