A date for the diaries!! The Pollinator Partnership Pollinator Week 2022 will take place from June 20th – 26th, 2022! At first glance, these fast flying moths can sometimes be mistaken for hummingbirds because of their lightning fast wings and quick
flight behaviour. White-lined sphinx moths have incredible flying abilities and are capable of hovering over flowers while extending their long proboscis to feed on nectar. Moths are often underappreciated in comparison to other insects, but are so important with many species being key pollinators of native plants as well as a crucial food source that birds and other animals depend on for survival.
