So, the new olive trees are planted (Coratina, Leccino and Frantoio varieties). Pleasing to see my earlier light pruning on the established trees looks to have improved olive numbers…we shall see come harvest time.

Potatoes (in time for xmas) now in and spinach and broad beans sown. Still cropping chili and sweet peppers, curly kale, and purple leaf kale.

The almond trees i planted a couple of years ago made it through the summer heat, and put on good growth as have all the other fruit trees (pomegranate, loquat, plum and mulberry).

Creating a new compost bin to then fill up with carob and olive leaves and donkey dung – for use as a mulch next year.
