It’s probably the nearest Simon will get to a wassail on Gozo, but they enjoyed roasted chestnuts, cider and made a libation to all their fruit trees on the plot. Here’s to a good harvest of pomegranates, loquats, mulberries, almonds, olives and plums. And they planted oak and carob tree seeds.
