Great news! Matthew Oliver, Horticulturist at RHS Hyde Hall, will be opening this year’s Seed Potato Day at Trust Links at 10am along with the Mayor of Southend, and thanks to the generosity of the Co-op, you’ll be able to enjoy hot cross buns with a cup of tea or coffee throughout the morning.
Freshly prepared Indian cuisine and jacket potatoes will still be served at lunchtime but, because some of you have to head off early, we wanted to offer you elevenses before you dash off.
So come along to purchase a variety of seed potatoes as well as enjoying live music, refreshments and children’s activities at Growing Together Westcliff, 47 Fairfax Drive, this Saturday ?
