Jane, Sharon, Ane and Ron went along to their venue opposite Chalkwell Park to talk compost to a group of young mothers concerned for a sustainable future and the part they can play. It was quite interactive, with a small number who had requested this subject. They went through the basic principles (green-brown ratio, no cooked food, types of bin; introduce the worms, the importance of slow compost for life cycles).
