Having been closed now for more than eighteen months; Kent’s leading organically-run demonstration gardens are still in danger of becoming the ‘Lost Gardens of Yalding’.

Thankfully though, the garden volunteers continue to assist the tenants with many of the tasks that have to be done, just to keep the site from becoming wilderness — and they have now organised an Open Day for the public to see what they have been doing and how the Gardens are faring.

The Open Day will be on Sunday 23rd June 2013. The gates will be open from 1pm to 5pm and cakes and cream teas will be available in the café.

Location information and directions are on our website  http://www.foyog.org/location/  and a (slightly out-of-date) PDF plan of the Gardens can be downloaded from here at
