Volunteer Coordinator (Essex)

Essex £19,565 pro rata (three days per week)

This is an  excellent opportunity for candidates with an interest in environmental issues  who would like to make a real difference in a rapidly developing sector. Waste  Watch is looking for a Project Coordinator to join its Community Engagement  team.

The  successful candidate will recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers from  across Essex. Volunteers will attend community events to promote the Love Food  Hate Waste campaign, reuse skills and home composting to local residents. The  Project Coordinator will work alongside council staff and report to Waste  Watch’s Community Engagement Coordinator.

The post  is part-time, three days a week, and based at Essex County Council offices in  Chelmsford.

The  deadline for receipt of applications is 11pm Tuesday 2 October 2012.  Interviews will take place on Friday 5 October 2012.
