Canvey Island Wildlife Day 2017

Canvey Island Wildlife Day 2017 Saturday 27 May SEEOG stall at Canvey Island Wildlife Day RSPB West Canvey Marsh, 11:00 – 16:00 Come along to the ‘SEEOG’ (SE Essex Organic Gardeners) stall and learn about the rubbish we can recycle at home or school, to put in a compost heap. Southend Little Free Pantry

Sharon met Lara at the Railway Hotel (the Southend Radical Fair) on Saturday who runs ‘The Little Free Pantry’, which is an idea very similar to the Community Fridge concept, except the items are non-perishable goods inside a cupboard. Lara kindly offered to take some SEEOG leaflets to distribute; in return Sharon said we could promote her idea via SEEOG. Sharon said she thought the day went very well, a good opportunity to connect with similar-minded people – and was appreciative of fish and chips and a pint of cider at the end of the day, though!
